The Rise of Generation Jesus: G’Zus
Gen Z? Thanks, but no… It's now G’Zus
Hey there, G’Zus! This One’s for You 😊
Let me start with a confession: I used to worry about the future of the Church.
I mean, who wouldn’t? With everything going on in the world—social media distractions, cultural shifts, rising skepticism—it’s easy to feel like faith is fading. But then I started meeting you . Young people who are passionate, curious, bold, and deeply hungry for God. And something shifted in me.
You’re not just the “next generation.”
You’re Generation Jesus —or as we’ve come to call you around here…G’Zus .
And let me tell you, the future isn’t just bright.
It’s blazing .
A New Kind of Generation
You know what’s wild? The enemy has tried every trick in the book to keep your generation distracted—scrolling through endless feeds, battling anxiety, feeling disconnected from real meaning. And yet… here you are.
Still showing up. Still asking questions. Still stepping into rooms full of prayer, worship, and purpose. Still saying, “God, if You’re real, show me.”
Sound familiar?
I remember sitting across from a 17-year-old girl named Maya at youth group last year. She was quiet at first, but one night she shared how she’d been praying for her school, even when it felt like no one was listening. Then, out of nowhere, a few of her friends started asking her about Jesus. Not because she preached at them—but because they saw something different in her.
That’s G’Zus energy right there.
Samson Had Nothing on You
Now, don’t get me wrong—I’m not comparing you to someone who pulled down temples with his bare hands (though honestly, that would be impressive). But Samson had something we can learn from: he was called , set apart from birth, and anointed for a purpose bigger than himself.
You might not have literal super-strength, but you’ve got something even better: the power of the Holy Spirit living inside you.
No, you may not have a seminary degree or a theology textbook memorized. But guess what? That doesn’t disqualify you. In fact, it might just make you more ready than you think.
The Bible says the anointing breaks yokes (Isaiah 10:27). It sets captives free, brings healing, and turns ordinary people into warriors for God’s kingdom.
So while education is great—and should never be undervalued—it’s the anointing that makes things move. That’s what gets things done in the spiritual realm.
Revival Is Coming—And It’s Starting With You
I’ll never forget hearing Pastor John say this during a youth retreat: “Revival doesn’t start in big conferences or flashy events. It starts in bedrooms, dorm rooms, and coffee shops where young people decide to take God seriously.”
And that’s exactly what’s happening.
God is raising up a generation that’s not afraid to ask hard questions, to challenge complacency, and to love boldly—even when the world doesn’t understand. He’s waking up hearts that were once numb, calling out dreams that seemed long buried.
You are part of this revival.
You might not feel ready. You might wonder, What can I possibly do? But trust me—you’re already doing it. Every time you choose integrity over popularity. Every time you speak truth in love. Every time you show up for someone who’s hurting, you’re changing the world.
Parents, Your Prayers Are Paying Off 🙌
To all the moms and dads reading this—your prayers matter more than you know.
There were times when my own mom thought I was too far gone. Too distracted by music, sports, and life to ever really care about God. But she kept praying. Kept loving. Kept believing.
And now here I am—writing this to you.
So if you’re a parent, don’t lose heart. Every bedtime prayer, every tear shed over your child’s choices, every promise you whispered to God—they’re not forgotten. They’re being answered.
Your child has a place in this revival. Maybe they’ll lead worship. Start a ministry. Launch a podcast. Or simply live a life so transformed that others stop and ask, “What’s different about you?”
They’re not just surviving this world—they’re preparing to lead it.
This Is Your Time, G’Zus 💥
I’ll leave you with this: You are not alone.
You are part of a mighty army. A global movement of young people who are tired of half-truths and empty promises. Who want something real. Something lasting.
Something like Jesus .
This is your time to rise. To raise your voice. To share your story. To be a light—not just in church buildings, but in schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and online spaces.
Because the world is watching.
And it’s waiting.
Not for some perfect person with it all together—but for you . Imperfect, growing, passionate, and filled with the Spirit.
So go ahead. Step into your destiny.
The future is yours.
And trust me—it’s going to be nothing short of amazing.
P.S. If you're reading this and thinking, “Wow, I need to know more about this whole ‘Holy Spirit’ thing,” then I’m cheering you on. Ask those questions. Lean into the journey. Because the same God who called Esther, David, and Paul is calling you today.
Welcome to G’Zus.
We’re glad you’re here. 🙌
